Return to Nature meditation retreat

Kate Savage of Open Window Mindfulness and Eric Alan host a day-long mindfulness retreat at Shirley’s Chalet, a hand-built log home adjacent to Cerro Gordo Land Conservancy’s protected acreage on the north shore of Dorena Lake. The day will include mediation, hiking, mindful eating, art and writing activities, and a potluck lunch. Much of the day will be held in “Noble Silence,” and there will be time for informal conversation. The day is intended as a return to nature, including our own nature, comprised of presence, gratitude, self-compassion, and connection.
